The Salvation Army Harbor Light Center offers alcohol and drug rehab services, which include opioid recovery in San Francisco, California. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) programs, and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for children, adolescents, homeless/indigent persons, and underserved communities.

At the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, may be used to relieve withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. Clients also undergo counseling, drug tests, and other pharmacological treatment to prevent relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients participate in individual and group therapy. Inpatient and outpatient facilities provide primary care services, work therapy, spiritual healing, and peer support, such as enrollment in 12 Steps Programs. Clients may also be eligible for housing support and social services, including family resources and career coaching.

The Salvation Army offers self-pay and financing options, with selected services available at no cost. The center may be in a network with insurance providers, such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, and Magellan Health. Calls to numbers on a specific treatment center listing will be routed to that treatment center. Calls to any general helpline will be answered or returned by one of the treatment providers listed, each of which is a paid advertiser: Rehab Media Group, Recovery Helpline, Alli Addiction Services.

By calling the helpline you agree to the terms of use. We do not receive any commission or fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a caller chooses. There is no obligation to enter treatment.
