Oakwood Springs offers alcohol and drug rehab services, including opioid recovery, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, dual diagnosis care, inpatient (IP), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for adolescents and veterans.
At Oakwood Springs, clients undergo a customized evaluation and are assigned to a case management team. Clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, to relieve withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clients also enroll in 12 12-step programs and participate in counseling to prevent relapse. The detox program can last up to 10 days.

In addition to detox, clients enter inpatient or outpatient settings, which vary from 24/7 monitoring in residential care to 12 hours per day in partial hospitalization programs and 3 hours per day for intensive outpatient programs. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) are used to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients also partake in education classes, develop life skills, and receive career coaching. Telehealth is available for adolescents. Oakwood Springs may make additional referrals for specialized substance abuse programs in outside treatment centers.
