Clinic Description
IU Health Addiction Treatment & Recovery Center is an addiction treatment facility operating within the IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. They provide alcohol and drug rehab services for adults, including medical detox, an intensive outpatient (IOP) program, and aftercare services.
Their medical detox program helps clients withdraw from opioids, alcohol, or other drugs before beginning more comprehensive counseling treatments. A team of multi-disciplinary providers can administer methadone, an FDA-approved addiction medication, to ease the physical symptoms of withdrawal and lower relapse risk.
In addition to MAT, clients can also participate in an array of outpatient services designed to treat the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of addiction. Services are tailored to each client’s individual care plan and may include individual, group, and family therapy, relapse prevention training, 12-step programs, recovery coaching, and holistic therapies including art, yoga, and mindfulness. Providers can refer clients to additional services, including inpatient treatment facilities if more extensive recovery support is required.
IU Health Addiction Treatment & Recovery Center works with most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Community Health Alliance, and others. They also accept military benefits, Medicare, and Medicaid. Reach out to your provider to confirm coverage, as out-of-network benefits could vary.
