Harmony Recovery Center

Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Harmony Recovery Center provides mental health and substance abuse recovery services for teenagers and adults. Their programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, outpatient treatment, and aftercare support. Specialized services are available for pregnant and postpartum women, intravenous drug users, and clients with co-occurring conditions.

Their MAT program is centered around each client’s individual assessment and psychiatric evaluation. A team of multi-disciplinary providers can administer FDA-approved medications, including Nalextrone, Vivitrol, and Suboxone, to help clients withdraw from alcohol, opioids, and other substances.

Depending on their recovery progress and level of need, clients may participate in MAT while in a PHO, IOP, or outpatient program. Once their medical detox is complete, clients can attend services that include individual, group, and family therapy sessions, life skills training, 12-step meetings, and recreational activities. Clients can also participate in holistic healing techniques, including art, nature, and adventure therapy. Longer-term MAT maintenance programs are available for clients with more extensive pharmacotherapy needs.
