Alpha Home, Inc. offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in San Antonio, Texas. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, dual diagnosis care, inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and aftercare programs for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for gender-specific groups, and underserved communities.

At Alpha Home, clients receive a customized evaluation and are assigned a case management team. Medication-assisted treatment can include FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal. Detox can include holistic therapies, traditional counseling, and enrollment in 12 12-step programs to prevent relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients receive group and individual counseling, peer support, and spiritual healing for co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Women may be eligible for residential housing for an average of 60-90 days, which includes an alumnae group, while men and women can receive outpatient care for up to 6 months. Hotlines and community resources are also available. Alpha Home may make referrals for outside treatment centers and substance abuse programs.

Alpha Home is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Alpha Home offers self-pay and financing options. Funding may be available for eligible Texas residents. The center accepts Medicaid and is in a network with selected private insurance, which may include Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, United Healthcare, and Wellpoint.
