Sidarth Wakhlu offers alcohol and drug rehab services, including opioid recovery, in Dallas, Texas. As a member of the UT Southwestern Medical Center, Wakhlu provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare services for young adults and adults.

At UT Southwestern Medical Center, clients receive a personalized evaluation and are assigned a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone) and naltrexone (Vivitrol and ReVia) treatments, are used to ease withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clients also participate in other rehabilitative counseling to prevent relapse.

In addition to medication-assisted treatment, clients may undergo individual, group, and family psychotherapy to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients may receive additional referrals to the UT Southwestern Medical Center network or outside treatment centers for specialized substance abuse programs.
