Clinic Description

O’ Bannon Carlton MD is a psychiatrist at Texas Treatment Services in Fort Worth, Texas. He provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults in addiction recovery, in addition to outpatient treatment and aftercare support. This includes specialized services for intravenous drug users, pregnant and postpartum women, and clients with co-occurring conditions.

Dr. Carlton’s MAT services help clients detox from alcohol and opioids. As a licensed physician, he can administer FDA-approved medications, including methadone and Suboxone, to help ease their symptoms of withdrawal and improve their overall comfort.

Dr. Carlton takes a whole-client approach to recovery, coupling medical detox services with holistic and evidence-based therapies to help clients understand their addictions, develop life skills and relapse prevention strategies, and set the foundation for sustained recovery. Clients can attend individual counseling sessions for continued support, and longer-term MAT maintenance programs are available for clients with more extensive pharmacotherapy needs.

At Texas Treatment Services, Dr. Carlton may be able to work with most major insurance providers, including Aetna, Cigna, Anthem, Humana, BlueCross/BlueShield, United Healthcare, TRICARE, and others. Speak with your provider to verify coverage, because out-of-network benefits can vary.

Texas Treatment Services is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
