Clinic Description

First Choice Community Healthcare – South Valley Medical Center provides primary care, dental care, and behavioral health services for children, teenagers, and adults, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults in addiction recovery. In addition to MAT, they offer outpatient treatment and aftercare support, including specialized services for clients with co-occurring conditions. Telehealth appointments may be available.

Their MAT services help clients complete the first step toward recovery as they detox from opioids and other substances. Medical providers can administer methadone, an FDA-approved addiction medication, to ease the symptoms of withdrawal, minimize cravings, and reduce the risk of relapse.

Staff take a comprehensive, whole-client approach to addiction recovery. Treatment includes individual and group counseling sessions, behavioral health therapy, and psychiatric services, to help clients better understand their condition, identify triggers, and work through underlying issues. MAT maintenance programs may be available for clients with longer-term pharmacotherapy needs.

First Choice Community Healthcare – South Valley Medical Center may accept most forms of commercial insurance, including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Humana, Beacon Health, BlueCross/BlueShield, and United Healthcare. Ask your provider to verify your coverage, as out of network benefits can vary.

First Choice Community Healthcare – South Valley Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Where do calls go?

Calls to numbers on a specific treatment center listing will be routed to that treatment center. Calls to any general helpline will be answered or returned by one of the treatment providers listed, each of which is a paid advertiser: ARK Behavioral Health, Recovery Helpline, Alli Addiction Services.

By calling the helpline you agree to the terms of use. We do not receive any commission or fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a caller chooses. There is no obligation to enter treatment.
