Clinic Description

Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, NM Department of Health – Turquoise Lodge Hospital provides addiction recovery services for adults. Services include inpatient medical detox, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and aftercare support. Specialized services are available for pregnant, postpartum, and mothering women, intravenous drug users, and clients seeking to secure custody of their children.

Their medical detox services help clients safely withdraw from alcohol, opioids, and other substances. A multi-disciplinary team of medical providers can administer FDA-approved medications, including buprenorphine and naltrexone (Vivitrol), to help clients manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal, minimize cravings, and reduce relapse risk. Detox takes place in an inpatient hospital setting.
