Clinic Description

Turning Point Recovery Center, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, provides comprehensive addiction recovery services for teenagers and adults. Their gender-specific programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient treatment, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and aftercare support. Specialized services are available for parenting clients, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and clients with co-occurring conditions.

Their MAT services help clients safely withdraw from opioids and other drugs. Providers can administer methadone, an FDA-approved addiction medication, to help clients manage their physical detox symptoms, curb their cravings, and minimize their relapse risk. This treatment primarily takes place in an outpatient environment, though inpatient services are available for clients who require around-the-clock medical care and supervision throughout the detox stage.

Their outpatient services include individual and group counseling, peer support groups, addiction education, life-skills training, and relapse-prevention training, to help clients create a foundation for long-term recovery. Holistic therapies, including fitness programs, yoga and meditation, wellness programming, cold plunge therapy, and nutritional therapy are also available.

Turning Point Recovery Center is in-network with many major insurance providers, including Aetna, BlueCross/BlueShield, Western Sky Community Care, First Health Network, and Molina. Check with your provider to confirm coverage as out of network benefits may vary.
