Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, NorthStar Clinical Services offers behavioral health and addiction recovery services for adults. Their treatments include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), an intensive outpatient (IOP) program, and aftercare services. They take a whole-client approach to recovery, helping clients understand and work through the underlying causes of their addiction to set the foundation for long-term recovery.

The MAT services help clients overcome the withdrawal phase as they overcome addictions to alcohol, opioids, and other substances. Providers can administer FDA-approved medications, including methadone, to lessen physical withdrawal symptoms and improve client comfort.

Once this process is complete, clients can participate in individual or group therapy sessions, where they’ll learn more about substance abuse, find peer support, and learn life skills. Providers tailor their treatment modalities to meet individual treatment plans, using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and evidence-based approaches, including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing, to support client wellness. Ongoing support is provided through weekly group meetings.

NorthStar Clinical Services is in-network with many major insurance providers, including Aetna, Beacon Health, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, and United Healthcare.
