Clinic Description
Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, McLeod Centers For Wellbeing Charlotte provides mental health and addiction recovery services for adolescents and adults. Their programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), residential treatment, an intensive outpatient (IOP) and general outpatient (OP) program, and aftercare support. Specialized services are offered for pregnant and postpartum women, intravenous drug users, clients facing drug-related charges, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and clients with co-occurring conditions.
Their MAT program is available in both residential and outpatient settings, and providers work closely with each client to determine their appropriate treatments and level of care. FDA-approved medications, including methadone and buprenorphine, can be administered to help ease the physical effects of withdrawal as clients detox from opioids, alcohol, and other substances.
Once medical detox is complete, clients can transition into other facility-provided services which may include individual, group, and family counseling, mental health counseling, introductions to 12-step programs, relapse prevention and life skills training, and specialized treatment programs including Living in Balance and The Matrix. Aftercare services include extended group counseling sessions to support long-term recovery.
McLeod Centers For Wellbeing Charlotte may accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Anthem, BlueCross/BlueShield, United Healthcare, Magellan Health, and others. Speak with your individual provider to verify coverage, as out-of-network benefits can vary.
McLeod Centers For Wellbeing Charlotte is accredited by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
