Clinic Description

FCCR Southlake is a methadone clinic Richmond VA that offers medicated assisted treatment and counseling services for outpatients with opioid use disorder. The MAT consists of methadone, buprenorphine, and suboxone. These are used along with counseling to produce the most successful outcome. Methadone and buprenorphine (suboxone) are used to reduce drug cravings and end painful withdrawal symptoms. Suboxone is used to treat side-effects associated with opioids, painkillers, and heroin. These treatments are customized to fit the patient after the first assessment is done. These treatments are done daily and are closely monitored by clinical practitioners.

The staff also create support groups for patients, this will enhance the road to the recovery process. The support group includes peers, family, friends, and other patients. Having a support group also creates awareness for other individuals, so don’t fall prey to these addictions.
