Clinic Description

Recovery Plus, formerly the Richmond Methadone Clinic, offers drug rehab services and is part of the Richmond Behavioral Health Authority network in Richmond, Virginia. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP) and aftercare programs for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for children, teenagers, pregnant and postpartum women, and justice-involved persons.

At Recovery Plus, clients are assessed and assigned a case management team. Licensed clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone and Suboxone, to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal symptoms. Clients are supervised during dosing and throughout their treatment to discourage relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients participate in individual and group counseling to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients enroll in peer support programs, and clients with acute cases may be eligible for residential treatment services and withdrawal management programs. Referrals may also be given to outside facilities.

Recovery Plus offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in-network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Optum, and Wellpoint. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.

Where do calls go?

Calls to numbers on a specific treatment center listing will be routed to that treatment center. Calls to any general helpline will be answered or returned by one of the treatment providers listed, each of which is a paid advertiser: Rehab Media Group, Recovery Helpline, Alli Addiction Services.

By calling the helpline you agree to the terms of use. We do not receive any commission or fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a caller chooses. There is no obligation to enter treatment.
