Clinic Description

Cherry Health Southside Health Center methadone clinics in Michigan offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Family Engagement Therapy to persons who struggle with substance abuse disorder. The methadone clinic grand rapids develop customized treatment plans for each patient. Thee treatment plans comprise of several services including methadone maintenance, personal and group therapy, psychiatric and medical evaluations, physical examinations, blood testing, communicable disease testing, drug screening, auricular acupuncture. Cherry Health Southside Health Center’s MAT program provides medication that stabilizes brain activity allowing patients to better handle drug cravings and withdrawal symptoms. The health center reinforces medication treatment with counseling, case management, and other services to comprehensively address each patient’s entire lifestyle. Admission to Cherry Health requires addiction to an opiate drug for at least one year. However, there are exceptions such as pregnant women, individuals who are released from penal institutions within six months, and previous patients. Persons who are under the age of 18 require special approval to be admitted.
