Clinic Description

An LGBTQ-friendly methadone clinic in Lynwood CA, BAART Programs Lynwood provides proof-based treatment for opioid addiction through methadone assisted treatment (MAT) and substance abuse counseling. The clinic welcomes all people who need help regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or cultural beliefs. Outside of its MAT offering, BAART Lynwood also offers a 21-day outpatient methadone detoxification program where patients can detox safely and comfortably with the guidance of the medical staff. The clinic also provides personalized counseling to each patient, substance abuse education to help patients learn more about addiction and its causes, relapse prevention to equip patients with the tools to prevent a reversion, screening of HIV/HCV, primary medical care, case management, among other services. With its whole-person approach, the medical staff and counselors at BAART Lynwood collaborate to create personalized treatment plans that coordinate with each patient’s drug use past as well as their health history. Every patient’s treatment plan will differ as their medical provider will set goals that coincide with their progress and unique needs.
