East Merrimack is a census-designated place in the town of Merrimack in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. It is interesting that there is no village center named “East Merrimack”. However, the CDP refers to the region of the town of Merrimack, which overlaps portions of some surrounding villages. The population was only 4,197 at the 2010 census. A small number of residents doesn’t necessarily mean that the place isn’t facing some major issues. On the contrary, opioid addiction has been present here just like anywhere else in the U.S. East Merrimack methadone clinic is doing everything in its power to provide medication-assisted treatment and much-needed support to all residents fighting opioid addiction. In fact, some methadone clinics in New Hampshire, alongside methadone therapy, offer vocational and educational counseling as well as behavioral therapies. All of these therapies combined are designed to help patients find comfort and support in order to empower their lives and start living free of drugs again. Along with the methadone treatment, a social support from friends and family members is of crucial importance and can be a deciding factor during the recovery.
