Sierra Tucson

Located in Tucson, Arizona, Sierra Tucson is a drug rehab center for adults. Services include medication assisted treatment (MAT), residential treatment, outpatient treatment, and aftercare services, including specialized services for clients with co-occurring conditions.

MAT services are provided at their behavioral health inpatient facility. This program helps clients gently detox from alcohol, opioids, and other substances before beginning other forms of treatment. Providers can administer FDA-approved medications, including methadone, to curb the physical effects of withdrawal, minimize cravings, and reduce the risk of relapse.

Once detox is complete, clients can begin engaging in the residential program, which includes an array of therapeutic services both holistic and evidence-based. Therapies are based on each client’s individual treatment plan and may include individual and group counseling, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), nutrition therapy, psychodrama, 12 Step program facilitation, equine therapy, and eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR).

Their outpatient treatment is based on a whole-client approach to recovery, helping clients address their addictions, identify underlying conditions, and develop the life skills necessary to support long-term recovery. Counseling, addiction education, family and peer support groups, and relapse-prevention training may be available.
