Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is a drug rehab for opioid recovery in Los Angeles, California. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, inpatient treatment, outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare services for children, teenagers, and young adults from ages 10 to 25. Specialized programs are available for the LGBTQ+ community. Services are available in English, Korean, and Spanish.

At Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, clients receive personal evaluations and are assigned to a case management team. Medication management is used to ease withdrawal symptoms and chronic pain associated with alcoholism and substance use disorder. Clients also engage in evidence-based counseling and holistic therapy practices.

In addition to medication management, clients also participate in educational workshops and emotional wellness programs to develop life skills and prevent relapse. Family resources and motivational interviewing are also available. Children’s Hospital Los Angeles may refer the client to outside substance abuse agencies and treatment centers.
