Clinic Description
Like most methadone clinics in West Virginia, the Williamson Comprehensive Treatment Center uses Medication Assisted Treatment as a major part of their treatment plan. Medication Assisted Treatment or MAT for short is a very effective and proven method of treatment for opioid use disorder. Patients will receive the perfect dosage of methadone, Suboxone, Vivitrol or Subutex. This are medications that activate the brains opioid receptors, but the activation will not be followed by euphoric sensations. This will help patients through the hardships of detox by easing the symptoms of withdrawal and helping them control their cravings.
At the methadone clinic Williamson WV side, they offer counseling services. Patients will have the opportunity to work with licensed counselors on one to one or group sessions. These sessions will help them get to the bottom of the reasoning behind their dependency. This will in turn help the patients maintain their sobriety. So call now and schedule your appointment.
