Clinic Description

Recovery Place Seattle, part of the Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care network is a drug rehab for opioid recovery. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), residential detox, dual diagnosis, inpatient programs (IP), and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for veterans, homeless/indigent persons, and the LGBTQ+ community. Services are available in English, Arabic, Igbo, Romanian, Russian, Somalian, Spanish, Tagalog, and Ukrainian.

At Recovery Place: Seattle, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, are used to alleviate withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clients are monitored 24/7 and also participate in pharmacological treatment to prevent relapse. The detox program lasts 2 to 5 days, and MAT can last up to 6 weeks.

In addition to medication management, clients also receive group and individual cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) programs in an inpatient setting. This 28-day program allows up to 32 clients to enroll in 12 12-step programs, receive family therapy and resources, and address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. A crisis hotline is also accessible for clients. Additional referrals to the Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care network or to outside treatment centers are available.

The Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care network is accredited by The Joint Commission.

The Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care network offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in a network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, United Healthcare, and Wellpoint.
