Clinic Description
Dr. Thili Kulatilake, MD is a family medicine physician associated with Desert Family Medicine and Northwest Healthcare, both in Tucson, Arizona. She provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient treatment, and aftercare services for children, teenagers, and adults.
Dr. Kulatilake’s MAT program allows clients to detox from alcohol, opioids, and other drugs before beginning other addiction recovery services. She can administer methadone and buprenorphine, FDA-approved addiction medications, to help clients overcome the physical symptoms of withdrawal, manage cravings, and reduce relapse risk.
Dr. Kulatilake may provide behavioral health and mental health care services to help clients treat the mental and emotional aspects of their addictions. These services may include individual and group counseling, addiction education, life-skills training, and referrals to outside providers if additional support is required. MAT maintenance programs may be available for clients with longer-term pharmacotherapy needs.
Dr. Kulatilake may be in-network with most commercial insurance providers, including Cigna, Humana, Beacon Health, United Healthcare, BlueCross/BlueShield, and others. Contact your individual provider to check your coverage as out of network benefits may vary.
