Clinic Description
The Recovery Center of Ohio (Columbus) provides alcohol and drug rehab services for adults in Columbus, Ohio. Their programs include medical detox, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP) and general outpatient (OP) programs, and aftercare services. Specialized services are available for clients with co-occurring addictions and mental health conditions.
They take a whole-client approach to addiction recovery, providing medical detox services in conjunction with individual and group counseling sessions to address the underlying factors of addiction and help clients develop healthy coping skills. Providers can administer Suboxone, an FDA-approved medication, to help clients manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal, reduce cravings, and lower their risk of relapse.
Once detox is complete, clients can begin outpatient treatments, which are available in various frequencies and intensities based on individual needs. Available services include continued counseling, medication management, life skills training, and related services. Clients requiring longer-term sobriety support can reside in transitional housing, where they’ll attend group counseling sessions and live in a sober environment while preparing for reintegration into society.
The Recovery Center of Ohio (Columbus) accepts most forms of commercial insurance, including AmeriHealth Caritas, Buckeye Health Plan, CareSource, Optum, Humana, and others. They also accept Medicaid.
The Recovery Center of Ohio (Columbus) is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
