Clinic Description

The Healing Way Behavioral Health Center, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, offers alcohol and drug rehab services, including opioid recovery. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare for young adults and adults. Services are available in English, Spanish, and Russian.

At The Healing Way, clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, Vivitrol, and Suboxone, to reduce cravings and lessen withdrawal pains. Clients also participate in evidence-based counseling to prevent relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients also undergo individual and group therapy, such as anger management, to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Services include PTSD and trauma therapy, emotional wellness training, and life skills development to assist clients in building resilience and healthy daily routines.

The Healing Way is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

The intake fee is $250 and follow-up doses are $145 per week. The Healing Way offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare and Medicaid under HMO plans. PPO plans, such as Aetna, BlueCross/BlueShield, and Cigna, are not yet accepted. Please contact your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
