Clinic Description
The Carter Clinic, P.A. offers behavioral health services for adults in Raleigh, North Carolina. Their programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient treatment, and aftercare support. Specialized services are available for women and clients with co-occurring addictions and mental health disorders.
Their MAT services help clients safely withdraw from alcohol, opioids, and other substances. A multi-disciplinary team of providers can administer weekly doses of Suboxone, an FDA-approved addiction medication, to improve client comfort as required. This medication also helps reduce drug cravings and minimizes the risk of relapse.
In addition to MAT, they also provide outpatient counseling services to help clients learn more about their addictions and develop healthy coping skills. Treatment plans are tailored to each client’s needs following the completion of an initial assessment. Available services include individual, family, and group counseling, peer-based support groups, medication management, psychiatric support, and referrals to community providers for additional psychiatric testing.
The Carter Clinic, P.A. is in-network with most private insurance providers including Tricare, Cigna, BlueCross/BlueShield, and others. They also accept Medicaid and Medicare. Speak with your provider to verify your coverage as out-of-network benefits could vary.
