Clinic Description

Formerly known as the St. Johns Riverside Hospital ParkCare Pavilion, the St. Johns Riverside Hospital New Focus Center, located in Yonkers, New York, provides primary care, behavioral health care, and addiction recovery services for adolescents and adults. They specialize in medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, and aftercare support. Specialized services are available for clients in the criminal justice system and clients with co-occurring conditions.

Their MAT program helps clients safely withdraw from alcohol, opioids, and other drugs as one of the first steps in their recovery journey. A multi-disciplinary team of providers will monitor each client’s progress, administering FDA-approved addiction medications as required to control the physical symptoms of withdrawal, reduce cravings, and lessen the risk of relapse. Available medications include naltrexone, methadone, buprenorphine, Sublocade, and Vivitrol.

In conjunction with MAT, they offer an array of gender-specific inpatient rehab services to help clients address the underlying issues affecting their addiction, identify triggers, and develop life skills for recovery. Available services include individual and group counseling, access to 12-step programming, psychiatric support, and customized discharge planning.

This location also provides outpatient services for clients transitioning from inpatient treatment or requiring a lower level of care. Programs include individual, family, and group counseling, psychiatric services, 12-step programming, and complementary, evidence-based therapies such as motivational interviewing. Their aftercare services may include connections to other community resources or departments within the St. Johns Riverside Hospital for continued recovery support.

St. Johns Riverside Hospital New Focus Center may work with most major insurance providers, including Cigna, Magellan, Humana, Aetna, Anthem, United Healthcare, BlueCross/BlueShield, and others. Check your coverage with your individual provider as out-of-network benefits may vary.
