Clinic Description

Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) is one of the most effective ways to treat opioid use disorder. And at Shelbyville Comprehensive Treatment Center that is one of the key pieces of the treatment plan. The staff comprised of doctors, nurses and counselors create the treatment plan to suit each patient individually. That is because they believe everyone that is recovering from opioid dependency will do so in their own unique way. This type of patient centered treatment is why they are considered to be one of the best methadone clinics in Kentucky. Using MAT and providing methadone and similar physician prescribed medication to ease symptoms of withdrawal they try to keep patients as comfortable as possible during their recovery. At the methadone clinic Shelbyville KY, they also address the psychological aspects of the opioid dependence to further support the recovery process. Counselors will work with patients to improve their emotional and mental status and get them ready to their new improved life style.
