Raposo Medical Services

Raposo Medical Services, part of the Amboy Medical Practice network in Staten Island, New York, offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery. The center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient programs, and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for the LGBTQ+ community, gender-specific groups, underserved communities, and homeless/indigent persons.

At Raposo Medical Services, clients engage with a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, are used to treat symptoms and ease withdrawal. Raposo Medical Services monitors clients 24/7 during treatment.

Along with medication-assisted treatment, clients may participate in individual and group counseling for co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Family therapy and resources may be available. Raposo Medical Services may make referrals to outside treatment centers or within the Amboy network for substance abuse care.

Raposo Medical Services offers self-pay and financing options. Selected services within the Amboy network may be free of charge. The center may be in-network with insurance providers, including Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, TRICARE, and Wellpoint.
