Project Renewal Third Street Men’s Shelter is a drug rehab in New York, New York for opioid recovery. The Third Street Men’s Shelter offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and outpatient services for mental and behavioral health disorders for homeless/indigent persons, underserved communities, justice-involved persons, and veterans.

At Project Renewal, clients undergo an evaluation and are assigned a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram are used to ease withdrawal symptoms and chronic pain. Clients may also receive holistic treatment and life skills development to prevent relapse.

In addition to detox, Project Renewal provides emotional wellness training through occupational therapy and psychiatric screenings. Clients build resilience by becoming eligible for housing programs, career coaching, nutritional guidelines, and education workshops. Telehealth is available, and a mobile ScanVan can provide further services for women.

Project Renewal offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicaid and may be in-network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, TRICARE, and Wellpoint.
