Clinic Description

Project Reality Salt Lake City, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, provides behavioral health care, primary health care, and addiction recovery services for adolescents and adults. Their services include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), crisis intervention, outpatient treatment, and aftercare support. Specialized services are available for clients with co-occurring addictions and mental health disorders. This location also provides harm-reduction supplies.

Each client undergoes a comprehensive assessment before beginning treatment. If detox is required, their MAT program allows clients to safely withdraw from alcohol, opioids, and other drugs under medical supervision. If necessary, a team of multi-disciplinary providers can administer FDA-approved addiction medications, including methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone, Vivitrol, and Sublocade, to reduce the physical pain of withdrawal, alleviate cravings, and minimize the risk of relapse.

Their outpatient services are tailored to meet each client’s needs and recovery goals. They are designed to support long-term recovery by exploring all aspects of addiction, including how it affects emotions, behaviors, and social interactions. Available services include individual, couples, group, and family counseling, peer-based support groups, case management, addiction education, and parenting classes. Upon completion of treatment, providers can refer clients to additional resources for continued care.

Project Reality Salt Lake City may be in-network with a majority of commercial insurance providers, including Humana, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, BlueCross/BlueShield, Kaiser Permanente, and others. Talk to your individual provider to verify coverage as out-of-network benefits can vary.
