People Encouraging People

People Encouraging People is an addiction recovery facility in Baltimore, Maryland. They offer a variety of treatments for drug addictions that may include medical detox and medication assisted treatment.

This program is located in the Schapiro Building. When you go in for the first time, you’ll see that they can use meds to help adults who have a variety of substance abuse needs. Of course, there’s also traditional outpatient counseling, either in groups or on your own. That way, you can recover with others and learn from your peers.

People Encouraging People serves adults and youth, as well as older adults. This community center provides a wide range of other services. For instance, there are mental health and psychiatric treatments, housing assistance, community re-entry services, HIV assistance, and help finding steady work. There’s also wide range of outreach programs for youths and the Deaf community.
