Clinic Description

Parkland Health offers alcohol, tobacco, and drug rehab services, including opioid recovery, in Dallas, Texas. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare for young adults, adults, and seniors. Specialized programs are available for pregnant and postpartum women, adolescents, underserved communities, and justice-involved persons. Services are available in multiple languages.

At Parkland Health, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, are used to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal symptoms. Clients also participate in counseling to prevent relapse.

Besides medication management, clients receive group and individual therapy to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Services include educational workshops, life skills development, and nutritional guidelines to promote healthy daily living routines. Acute patients may be eligible for inpatient care, while referrals to outside treatment centers for specialized substance abuse programs are available.

Parkland Health offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP, and is in network with insurance providers such as BlueCross/BlueShield and Molina. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
