Clinic Description

Nuway Community Services is a drug rehab in Chicago, Illinois that specializes in opioid recovery. The center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), general outpatient treatment, and aftercare programs for young adults and adults.

At Nuway Community Services, clients are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, are used to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. Counseling is also provided to prevent relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients participate in therapy, as directed by their case management team. Intensive and general outpatient care can include family and group counseling, life skills development, and coping mechanisms to build resilience. Referrals may be made to outside treatment centers for specialized substance abuse programs.

Nuway Community Services offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicaid and may be in-network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, United Health, and Wellpoint.
