Clinic Description

Metro Treatment Center, Inc. is one of the methadone clinics in Kansas that believes opioid use disorder patients shouldn’t not be expected to simply abstain from opioid use. They understand that the withdrawal symptoms the body experiences from lack of opioid is too severe to handle alone. With that in mind the team of doctors, nurses and counselors prepare a treatment plan that revolves around Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT). MAT is known to be the most effective way to treat a patient of opioid dependency. It involves providing patients with Methadone, a medication that helps patient cope with the lack of opioids in the body by easing withdrawal symptoms. The medication is also a good crutch and helps them control their cravings.
The methadone clinic Wichita KS side is also known for its work on the mental aspects of the dependency. By giving the opportunity for patients to work side by side with licensed counselors they give patients a treatment that lasts a lifetime.
