Clinic Description

Maximum Assistance (Max) Clinic offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Seattle, Washington. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, inpatient (IP) and outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare for homeless/indigent persons and underserved communities. Services are available in English and Spanish.

Clients are referred to Max Clinic from outside treatment centers, such as hospitals and nursing facilities. Clients are assessed and assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, are used to ease withdrawal pain and reduce cravings. Clients also undergo drug testing and counseling to prevent relapse. Transportation and meals may be included.

In addition to medication management, clients undergo individual and group therapy. Motivational interviews, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and social services are available to develop healthy daily living routines. The center uses peer support and mentorships to encourage long-term sobriety.

All services are at no cost. Specialized programs may accrue an additional fee, and insurance providers, such as Aetna, BlueCross/BlueShield, Humana, Magellan Health, and United Healthcare, may provide coverage or out-of-network benefits.
