Clinic Description
John E. Cook, M.D. provides pain management services at Midwest Pain Clinics in Omaha, Nebraska, including addiction recovery treatment for adults. His services include medication assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient treatment, and aftercare support.
Dr. Cook’s MAT services help clients safely withdraw heroin, oxycodone, Percocet, and other opiates. As he monitors each client’s progress, he can administer Suboxone, an FDA-approved addiction medication, as required. Suboxone can improve client comfort, reduce cravings, and lower the risk of relapse.
In addition to the MAT program, Dr. Cook creates a comprehensive treatment plan to help each client achieve long-term recovery. This includes connections to local therapists and recovery support groups, as well as on-site physical therapy services to address any underlying pain contributing to addictive behaviors.
Dr. Cook’s services may be covered at Midwest Pain Clinics through major commercial insurance plans such as Anthem, Cigna, Humana, BlueCross/BlueShield, United Healthcare, and others. If referrals are made to community-based counseling and recovery groups, those facilities may also be in-network with those plans. Contact your provider to verify your coverage because out of network benefits can vary.
