Clinic Description

Hamilton Treatment Services is a licensed treatment center for substance abuse patients, located in Hamilton, New Jersey. HTS’s main procedure is medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with methadone and buprenorphine (Subutex) for general and intensive patients. Group and peer counseling is offered in addition to medication and also relapse prevention. Hamilton Square methadone clinic uses MAT as its leading treatment for substance abuse, this has been the case for more than 50 years. MAT is usually combined with therapies for the effective treatment of substance abuse, such as opioids. These treatments reduce the craving for the drug and physical withdrawal symptoms. Other than methadone, Hamilton also uses Suboxone and Vivitrol.

The methadone clinics in New Jersey offer several types of care to their patients. Its MAT and along with the detox programs include Methadone maintenance to help manage substance abuse. Individual substance disorder counseling sessions will help patients understand their disorder. Then with the assistance of families and friends, patients will be reintegrated back into society.
