Clinic Description

Drexel Counseling Inc, part of the Hardin House network in Chicago, Illinois, is a drug rehab for opioid recovery and co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. The center offers medication-assisted treatment, detox, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), general outpatient programs, and residential housing for substance use disorder treatment. Drexel Counseling provides specialized services for justice-involved persons, pregnant women, and homeless/indigent persons.

At Drexel Counseling, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and receive a customized treatment plan. A case management team is assigned to assist with medication management and to ease withdrawal and chronic pain.

In addition to detox, clients may also receive group counseling for up to 10 individuals at one time. The intensive outpatient and general outpatient programs require addiction education classes to prevent relapse. Treatment also focuses on spiritual healing, enrollment in 12 Step programs, and family resources. Referrals for outside treatment centers and drug abuse agencies may also be available.

Drexel Counseling is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Drexel Counseling offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicaid and is in-network with many insurance providers, which can include Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, TRICARE, and Wellpoint. Please check with your insurance provider about specific details concerning out of network benefits.

Where do calls go?

Calls to numbers on a specific treatment center listing will be routed to that treatment center. Calls to any general helpline will be answered or returned by one of the treatment providers listed, each of which is a paid advertiser: Rehab Media Group, Recovery Helpline, Alli Addiction Services.

By calling the helpline you agree to the terms of use. We do not receive any commission or fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a caller chooses. There is no obligation to enter treatment.
