Clinic Description
Dr. Wen Cai, MD, PhD is a board-certified psychiatrist at the Wellbeing Institute in Tucson, Arizona. He provides mental health, behavioral health, and addiction recovery services for children, adolescents, and adults. His services include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and aftercare support. Specialized services are available for clients with co-occurring conditions.
Under his MAT program, Dr. Cai can administer the FDA-approved medications buprenorphine and Suboxone to help clients work through their physical symptoms while detoxing from alcohol, opioids, and other substances. These medications reduce the severity of symptoms, curb cravings, and lower the risk of relapse.
Dr. Cai takes a whole-client approach to recovery, offering an array of outpatient services in addition to his MAT program, to set the foundation for long-term sobriety. Treatment plans are individualized for each client, with available offerings that include individual, couples, family, and group therapy; integrated psychiatric care; and evidence-based therapies including
eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
Dr. Cai is in-network with many commercial insurance providers, including Aetna, Cigna, HealthNet, Allwell, Steward Health, and BlueCross/BlueShield. Contact your provider directly to verify coverage, as out of network benefits may vary.
