Clinic Description

Located in Vancouver, Washington, Columbia River Mental Health provides mental health, behavioral health, and addiction recovery services for children, adolescents, and adults. Their age-specific programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient treatment, and aftercare services. They also operate a mobile response clinic.

Their MAT program helps clients safely detox from alcohol, opioids, and other substances under medical supervision. As required, providers can administer FDA-approved addiction medications, including methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone, to alleviate physical withdrawal symptoms, curb drug cravings, and reduce the risk of relapse.

In conjunction with MAT, they also offer outpatient treatment to help clients better understand their addictions, recognize triggers, and learn healthy coping strategies. Treatments are tailored to each client’s needs, with available services that include individual, group, and family therapy, case management, peer-based support groups, psychiatric evaluations, and medication management. Aftercare services include linkages to additional providers that can offer additional support in the areas of food assistance, housing, employment, education, and basic needs, as well as access to community events focused on sobriety, outreach, and continued recovery.

Columbia River Mental Health may be in-network with most major insurance providers, including Cigna, Anthem, BlueCross/BlueShield, Humana, Aetna, United Healthcare, and others. Verify coverage with your individual provider as out-of-network benefits can vary.
