Clinic Description

Aurora Psychiatric Hospital Chemical Dependency Services, located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, provides behavioral health services for children, teenagers, and adults. Their programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), partial hospitalization (PHP) intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, and aftercare services. Specialized support is available for clients with co-occurring conditions. Telehealth appointments are available.

Their MAT services help clients safely withdraw from alcohol, opioids, and other drugs in a medically supervised environment. As required, a multi-disciplinary team of providers can administer FDA-approved addiction medications, including methadone, to reduce withdrawal symptoms, control cravings, and lower the risk of relapse.

Their outpatient treatment includes services to help clients work through their addictions, understand triggers, and create a foundation for long-term recovery. Available services may include individual and group counseling, addiction education, medication management, and similar programs. Their aftercare services help clients connect with local providers that can help them stay in a sober, supportive environment. Alumni can also attend recurring support groups, classes, and events.

Aurora Psychiatric Hospital Chemical Dependency Services works with most private insurance providers, including Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross/BlueShield, Molina Healthcare, United Healthcare, and others. They also accept Medicare and Medicaid. Ask your provider to verify your coverage as out-of-network benefits may vary.
