Amethyst Recovery Center

Amethyst Recovery Center is an alcohol and drug rehab in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The center provides detox, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP), and aftercare programs for young adults and adults.

At Amethyst Recovery Center, clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. An individualized detox program is created in which licensed clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, which may include methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, and disulfiram, to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal pains. Clients are supervised during dosing and throughout their treatment to prevent relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients receive inpatient care, such as dual diagnosis approaches in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients enroll in 12 Steps Programs, receive holistic therapy, access to gym memberships, and partake in nutritional programs. Social and financial services are available, and clients may be referred to outside facilities and specialized substance abuse programs.

Amethyst Recovery Center is accredited by The Joint Commission, LegitScript, and the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP).
