Española is a city in the state of New Mexico. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 21.9 square kilometers. Apart from that, it is home to a great number of people who are struggling with opioid use disorder. For decades, opioid consumption has been a major problem in all U.S. states and methadone clinics in New Mexico have been established in order to help individuals with this terrible addiction. Furthermore, methadone clinic in Española offers medication-assisted treatment based on the methadone therapy and most likely followed by other forms of psychological therapies. Some of them are educational, vocational and behavioral therapies and should definitely be combined with methadone therapy for the purpose of achieving better results. Of course, methadone has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration and is safe for patients. However, it should only be taken under supervision of a healthcare professional and the doses of methadone should not be shared in any cases. A full recovery is more than realistic if a patient shows determination and strong will to overcome opioid addiction.
