Clinic Description

The Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus, part of the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System, offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in New York City, New York. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, inpatient and outpatient programs, and aftercare for veterans and their families. Specialized services are available for seniors, the LGBTQ+ community, homeless/indigent persons, underserved communities, and gender-specific groups.

At the Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus, clients are assigned a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, may be used to reduce cravings and relieve withdrawal symptoms. Clients also participate in counseling to prevent relapse.

Clients may be eligible for inpatient programs for their rehabilitation. Inpatient and outpatient care consists of individual and group counseling, family therapy and resources, holistic care, and emotional wellness training for co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Telehealth, hotlines, and a nurse’s line are available. Clients may receive referrals for specialized substance care at other New York Harbor Healthcare treatment centers.

VA New York Harbor Health Care System is accredited by the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

The Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in-network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, ChampVA, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, TRICARE, and Wellpoint.
