Clinic Description
Gwendolyn K. Shipe, a physician at Living Well Dallas, offers rehab services for opioid recovery in Dallas, Texas. Living Well Dallas provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, dual diagnosis care, outpatient (OP), and aftercare for young adults and adults.
At Shipe’s clinic, clients are given a personalized evaluation and assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, may be used to ease withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Additional evidence-based pharmacological treatments are provided to prevent relapse.
In addition to medication management, clients participate in individual and group counseling to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Equine therapy, holistic programs, nutritional guidelines, and LED light therapy may be used to promote healthy daily routines and strengthen emotional wellness. Clients may be referred to outside treatment centers for specialized substance abuse programs.
Living Well Dallas offers self-pay and financing options. The center does not accept insurance, but some lab work may have coverage by PPO providers, such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, United Healthcare, and Wellpoint.
