Clinic Description
Located in Dickinson, North Dakota, Badlands Human Service Center provides behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults, including dedicated support for adults in addiction recovery. Their programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), crisis stabilization, outpatient treatment, and aftercare services. Specialized services are available for pregnant women, intravenous drug users, clients in the criminal justice system, and clients with co-occurring conditions.
Their MAT program supports clients who need to detox from alcohol, opioids, or other substances as they begin recovery. As providers monitor each client’s progress, they can administer methadone, an FDA-approved addiction medication, to reduce the physical effects of withdrawal, mitigate cravings, and reduce the risk of relapse.
In conjunction with MAT, they also offer outpatient treatment that helps clients address the psychological aspects of addiction. Treatments cater to each individual’s needs and level of care required, with available services that include one-on-one and group therapy, medication management, peer-based support groups, rehabilitative services, and case management. Their aftercare program provides employment support, housing assistance, and referrals to community resources.
Badlands Human Service Center may work with most commercial insurance providers, including BlueCross/BlueShield, United Healthcare, Magellan, Cigna, Humana, Anthem, and others. Speak with your individual provider to verify your coverage because out-of-network benefits can vary.
Badlands Human Service Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
