Clinic Description

Duke City Recovery Toolbox, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, provides mental health and addiction recovery services for adults. Their programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient treatment, and aftercare services. Specialized support is available for military personnel, veterans, and clients with co-occurring conditions. Telehealth appointments may be available.

Their MAT program helps clients detox from opioids, alcohol, and other substances as part of their comprehensive recovery treatment. Multi-disciplinary providers can administer FDA-approved addiction medications, including methadone, naltrexone, and Suboxone, to ease the physical effects of withdrawal, curb cravings, and improve client comfort.

Their outpatient services include individual and group counseling, addiction education, and spiritual support. Families and friends affected by the client’s addiction are encouraged to participate in these therapies as they cope and heal. Providers work closely with clients to identify the underlying conditions affecting their addictions, using behavioral therapies that include trauma-informed care, relaxation techniques, art therapy, mindfulness, and other holistic approaches. Long-term MAT maintenance programs are available for clients with more extensive pharmacotherapy needs.

Duke City Recovery Toolbox does not accept private insurance. They work closely with community and government agencies, offering coordinated care in partnership with the VA Support Services, Medicaid, and probation support services. If providers make referrals to outside recovery services, those facilities may be in-network with commercial insurance companies, including Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross/BlueShield, Humana, and others. Contact your provider to verify coverage as out of network benefits can vary.

Duke City Recovery Toolbox is accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
