Trenton, the capital of New Jersey and the county seat of Mercer County, very briefly served as the United States Capital in 1784. In 2019, Trenton’s population was 83,203, and it directly borders the Philadelphia metropolitan area. It’s no surprise that an area this populated should have a need for the services delivered by methadone clinics in New Jersey. Finding a Trenton methadone clinic and asking for help can be the first step to a whole new life. The real secret to a successful addiction recovery is that it does not have to be, nor should it be, constant, white-knuckled misery. Methadone is available to treat the terrible cravings and withdrawal symptoms, and counseling and other forms of therapy are available to help with the internal work needed to address psychological issues and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Meanwhile, people in recovery should seek out new things to get excited about, to be passionate about, or to simply have fun doing. A lasting recovery is much easier when you are living a life that is too full and enjoyable to have room for drug use.
