Clinic Description

Glenwood Life Counseling Center, Inc. provides alcohol and drug rehab services for adults in Baltimore, Maryland. Their offerings include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), general outpatient programs, and aftercare services. Telehealth appointments may be available.

Their MAT services help clients safely detox from opioids and other substances under the guidance of a team of medical professionals. Following individual assessments, providers evaluate if medication is needed to support the detox process. If required, they can administer methadone, an FDA-approved addiction medication, to ease the physical symptoms of withdrawal, reduce cravings, and minimize relapse risk.

The Center couples their MAT services with counseling support to help clients understand their addictions and address any underlying issues influencing their behavior. Individual and group counseling sessions are available, along with life-skills training, addiction education, and relapse-prevention training. Clients in the IOP also participate in evidence-based therapies, as well as sober social activities, to encourage peer connection. Case management services ensure a complete continuum of care, connecting clients with community-based resources including housing, career counseling, and educational training.

Glenwood Life Counseling Center, Inc. may be in-network with many major insurance providers, including Aetna, Anthem, Amerigroup, Cigna, Humana, BlueCross/BlueShield, and others. Please verify coverage with your individual provider as out of network benefits can vary.

Glenwood Life Counseling Center, Inc. is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
