ACI, located in Brooklyn, New York, offers inpatient detox and dual-diagnosis inpatient alcohol and drug rehab to adults. Services include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), medication management, case management, gender-specific groups, and holistic treatment options.

During inpatient detox treatment, residents are monitored 24/7 by medical professionals who can offer treatment for the physical symptoms of withdrawal. ACI also offers individual, family, and group therapy; sober recreation; and holistic treatment such as art, drama, and spirituality. The detox process prepares residents for inpatient treatment.

Inpatient treatment services at ACI include individual, group, and family therapy; MAT; medication management; case management; onsite 12 Step groups; addiction education; life skills training; and relapse prevention. They also offer recreation, weekly outings, drama, art, spirituality groups, and discharge planning.

During MAT, residents are prescribed FDA-approved medication to help with cravings and lower the chance of relapse. Using the medication allows them to maintain sobriety while they learn to create a substance-free lifestyle and, eventually, will no longer need the medication.
